Taverna din Port sits right on the water in Murighiol Harbour — where the Danube splits into the branches of the Delta. From the terrace you watch the boats come in at sunset, hear the Lipovan fishermen calling across the harbour and smell fish on the embers.

We work with local fishermen and bring in carp, pike-perch, catfish and crucian carp daily from licensed catches; our sturgeon comes only from aquaculture. The rest we do with fire, wood and patience.
